Project Manager (Remote)

Teal Media is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager full-time position. You will help bring our award-winning designs and ideas to life working along a dedicated team of designers, developers, and strategists.

What You’ll Do

Project & Client management

• Manage all project types (Design, Web, Brand, and Digital Marketing) with minimal guidance. Demonstrate thorough understanding of the website design and development process (discovery through launch), with particular focus on the strategic aspects of a project and how they meet project goals.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity and timelines effectively.
• Develop and maintain project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets independently.
• Proactively identify and address project risks, scope creep, and resource constraints, escalating issues as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for daily client communication, ensuring alignment and setting realistic expectations, and keeping the client informed on day-to-day project logistics.
• Educate clients on process and best practices while nurturing the client relationship. Support with client training and answering questions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the highest quality service delivery.
• Resolve project resourcing issues, with assistance from your pod.
• Lead project kick-offs, facilitate presentations, and conduct project close-outs.
• Basic soft skills needed to navigate typical client issues and challenges, surfaces larger issues to team leads or higher when needed.
• Communicates regularly with the project team, sharing status updates, budget and other project information.
• Good inter-department communication skills.

Process and Methodology

• Consistently adhere to the Project Management department’s established methodologies and processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency with project management tools, tailoring their application to meet specific project needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes by sharing feedback and insights.

Business Development Support

• Represent project management expertise during prospective client pitches as needed.
• Identify potential opportunities for expanded work with current clients and collaborate with the Business Development team to pursue them.
• Build strong client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• 4+ years of management web-based and Digital marketing projects
• Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Great inter-department communication skills
• Extensive experience with client-facing and external communications. Strong soft skills needed to navigate typical client issues and challenges, collaborate where needed in order to resolve those challenges
• Strong understanding of project management tools and how to best apply them to a project
• A strategic mindset – awareness of potential new opportunities with clients and the ability to hold conversations about possible future needs
• Agency experience is highly preferred

Salary

Teal Media is committed to equity and transparency when it comes to salary and the growth of our people. This role is open to both level 2 and 3 in our progression framework and is determined by the candidate’s unique background and experience. Responsibilities may also slightly shift, depending on your level.

Level: 3

• Official Title: Senior Project Manager (I)
• Department: Project Manager
• Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000

Level: 2

• Official Title: Project Manager (I or II)
• Department: Project Manager
• Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000
